Deputies: Florida man hid $1,000 worth of 20-dollar bills in his rectum
OCALA, Fla. (WGFL) —
Marion County Sheriff's deputies say they found more than 1,000 worth of 20-dollar bills in a man's rectum this weekend.
Deputies arrested and charged 26-year-old Pattreon Stokes with trafficking drugs Saturday after they say they found 197 grams of methamphetamines, rock cocaine and heroin inside his car during a traffic stop on East Highway 40. They say he also had a 7-month-old child in the front seat and a large amount of money on him.
Stokes was taken to the Marion County Jail where deputies say they couldn't find Stokes' money. Stokes told them they already took the money but deputies knew they hadn't. That's when they say $20 bills falling from his buttocks.
"After a necessary but undesirable process for everyone involved, MCSO Detention Deputies located $1,090 in U.S. currency hidden in Stokes' rectum," the sheriff's office wrote on Facebook. "Judging from Stokes' mugshot, he looks pretty "bummed" about the whole situation.
Stokes is charged with smuggling contraband into a detention facility, trafficking methamphetamines, trafficking heroin, possession of cocaine with the intent to sell and marijuana possession.
