Police capture Gainesville man accused of helping cover up homicide
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WGFL) —
Gainesville Police say authorities have captured a suspect they've been trying to find more nearly two years.
Daniel Winter is charged with accessory to murder after the fact and tampering with evidence in the May 2016 shooting death of Rashay Garrison.
Police say members of the Alachua County Sheriff's Warrants Division and the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force found Winter Tuesday at a friend's house in Southwest Gainesville.
He's being held at the Alachua County Jail on $250,000 bond.
Winter was recently featured on CBS4's Wanted Wednesdays.
