Gainesville Police investigating armed robbery at Ichiban Sushi
GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WGFL) —
Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Gainesville sushi restaurant late Monday.
Officers responded to a robbery call at Ichiban Sushi at 4401 NW 25th Place around 11 p.m. Police say two men with handguns robbed the restaurant.
Police say one suspect was possibly a teen or in his early 20s. He wore a blue long-sleeve shirt, light jean shorts, white shoes, a blue hat, gloves and a white T-shirt wrapped around his face. The second suspect wore a black hat, dark blue jean shorts, a black long-sleeve shirt and dark shoes. He also had a white T-shirt wrapped around his face and gloves.
Officers say they set up a perimeter around the business but believe the men left in a vehicle.
No one was injured.
