HIGH PARKS, Fla. (WGFL) —
High Springs Police say a standoff situation Monday night has been resolved without incident.
Police surrounded the Railroad Avenue home after they say a man barricaded himself inside the house with a woman and their child. Police say it was not a hostage situation. They say they knew the man had PTSD and that there were guns in the house but he never made threats and the woman was not there against her will.
They say the situation ended about 9 p.m. when the woman left the home with the baby. Police say the man was not taken into custody and no charges have been filed.
