Man arrested in connection with Williston restaurant shooting
WILLISTON, Fla. (WGFL) —
Authorities have arrested a man accused of shooting two people with a shotgun at a Levy County restaurant the day after Thanksgiving.
Levy County Sheriff's deputies charged 26-year-old Anthony Walter Vessels with two counts of attempted murder in connection with the Nov. 24th shooting at Melvin and Alice Takeout just outside Williston.
Deputies say the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested Vessels this week in Broward County. He's being held at the Levy County Jail on $4 million bond.
Deputies say the case is still active. Anyone with information is asked to call the Levy County Sheriff's Office.
