Two arrests made in string of burglaries to Gainesville businesses
Gainesville, Fla. —
Two men have been charged in connection with a string of burglaries to several businesses.
Gainesville police arrested 56-year old Darrell Wells and 52-year old Terry Johnson on three counts of burglary and larceny.
Police say they burglarized several local businesses, including a a Gamestop where they stole a PS4, XBOX One and XBOX 360.
Police say the men planned the burglary together and broke into the store using a brick to smash the glass door.
" We were able to file two charges on each men at this point and that's gives our investigators time to slow down a little bit and form the evidence to get the rest of the cases going," Gainesville police spokesman Ben Tobias said.
Wells is being held on a $65,000 bond.
Johnson's bond was set at $75,000.
