U.S. News ranks UF Education online best in state, 2nd in nation

Some great news for the University of Florida : Today, U.S. News ranks the UF College of Education's online program the best in the state and No. 2 in the nation.

UF's College of Education offers 9 web-based degree programs.

Education Senior Associate Dean, Tom Dana said the college's instructional design team partners with professors to customize an online course system with audio and video interactive tools.

"To get to the top you have to have some outstanding features, you have to have programs that are really engaging for students and that's something we take pride in," Dana Said.

Dana said the college has a strong instructional design team that knows how to create courses with student to student and student to faculty interaction.

Also, UF's online bachelor program as a whole, is ranked No. 12 in the country.

UF online went up 8 places from its previous spot in 2017.
