Wanted Wednesdays: Bronson man accused of sexually assaulting teen

Levy County Sheriff's deputies need your help finding a Bronson man who police say held a teen against her will and sexually assaulted her.

49-year-old John Clayton Partin is charged with three counts of sexual battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment.

Lt. Scott Tummond said the teen tried to escape several times from Partin and with each attempt he was able to restrain her.

Tummond said Partin was abusing Methamphetamine, "which probably led him to make these decisions that affected a young girls life...forever," he said.

Tummond said his last known address was on NE 61st Pl. in Bronson.

"We know he is local," Tummond said. "It's just getting our hands on him that's posing a problem, and because of his violent history its a risk to law enforcement's safety," he said.

Deputies say they have information Partin is getting help from friends and family to stay hidden but need your help to locate him.

"These crimes are egregious, they are the worst of the worst, we need our community's support and we need their help to get Partin in custody," Tummond said.

Partin has brown hair and blue eyes, 6'2" and 190 pounds. If you have any information police ask you call Crime Stoppers at 352- 486-5111.
