WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) -- The effects of Hurricane Harvey are still being felt throughout the state of Texas.

On Thursday, the death toll from the storm climbed to 39 people. While floodwaters have receded, many Houstonians are still stuck in shelters trying to recuperate.
