High school boys district final scores
For the first time since 2005, Vanguard took down Gainesville at the Purple Palace. The Hurricanes' Christian Miller-Cardwell sent the game into overtime with a buzzer-beating three-point shot, but the Knights pulled away with it, 64-57. It's Vanguard's first District 4-7A title since 2003. In next week's regional semifinal, the Canes will travel to Jacksonville Englewood. Watch the highlights above.

P.K. Yonge defeated Maclay, 78-63, to become back-to-back District 1-4A champions. Freshman Jalen Speer led the Bluewave with 24 points, and sophomore Byron Smith was close behind with 19 points of his own. The Bluewave host Snyder on Thursday night.
Newberry pulled off a comeback to beat Williston in overtime, 77-71, to take the District 6-1A title.
In District 2-6A, Santa Fe beat Eastside, 53-42. The Raiders will host Palm Coast Matanzas next Thursday in the regional playoffs.
Buchholz fell on the road to Creekside, 51-41, in the District 4-8A final.
