Marissa Sarbak is a News Reporter from New York. She studied Communication and Social Interaction at the State University of New York at Oswego. During her four years there she was a morning and nightly anchor for her school's television station, WTOP-10, as well as the on air host of Presidential Election Night 2012.

During her last two summers in college, Marissa reported on stories for the nightly news as an intern at WIVT/WBGH in Binghamton, NY. Her work in media continued as the Event Director of her college's annual Media Summit. Marissa worked as a leader on this event for two years, helping to bring journalism icons such as Charlie Rose, and Oswego alumni Al Roker and Steve Levy, to SUNY Oswego.

During her time here at CBS4, Marissa has interviewed Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders during his rally at the University of Florida, as well as Florida Governor Rick Scott. She continues to follow the story of local celebrity Officer Bobby White, GPD's "Basketball Cop."

In her free time, Marissa enjoys traveling, horseback riding, and spending time with her family and friends. She is a huge Disney fan, and even worked as a safari driver at Disney World for a semester during college! Marissa is happy to be back in Florida, and excited to be a part of the CBS4 News Team!
