Bullet holes through window

Levy County Sheriff's Deputies are looking for the suspect involved in a drive-by shooting in Williston.

Police say on January 11th at around 9:15 PM , Charles Smith and his wife were in their living room when bullets flew into their home.

One of them hit the 75-year-old man in the back of the head.

He was taken to UF Health and is expected to have a full recovery but the shooter is still on the loose.

"We need our community's help we have zero information on who our shooter is, we believe it was sent as a message- a message to someone else delivered to the wrong place," Lieutenant Scott Tummond with Levy County Sheriff's Dept.

Tummond said they believe someone in the Williston area has an idea of who it may be and are asking for anyone with any information to come forward. You can remain anonymous and can receive up to a $1,000 reward.
