Four young adults from Jacksonville killed in Gilchrist County crash
BELL, Fla. (WGFL) —
Two young men and two young women from Jacksonville died at the scene of a two-car crash in rural Gilchrist County Saturday.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded about 5:45 p.m. to the intersection of U.S. 129 and County Road 340 where a 2006 Chevy Impala and a 2014 Ford Explorer collided.
Troopers say four passengers inside the Impala died at the scene. They were identified as 19-year-old Isabella Garcia; 18-year-old Cameron Bell; 21-year-old Hayden Raulerson; and 20-year-old Alysia Littlejohn, all of Jacksonville. Troopers say 20-year-old Blake Delapaz, also of Jacksonville was taken to UF Health in critical condition.
The driver of the Explorer, 28-year-old Aimee Williams of Trenton, was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The crash is under investigation.
