Gainesville Police looking for car that hit pedestrian, kept going

Gainesville Police have released new video of a car that they believe hit a pedestrian and kept going on Nov. 3rd.

Police say a pedestrian was crossing NW 16th Avenue just east of North Main Street about 11:20 p.m. They say that's when a white, 4-door sedan heading west struck the person and kept going. Police say the victim is still in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police say the vehicle should have front-end damage and possibly a cracked or broken windshield. Anyone with information about the car or incident is asked to call Investigator Al Moore at (352) 393-7744. You can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at (352) 372-STOP. \
