A Walmart customer service manager is accused of transferring $11,000 of the store's money onto pre-paid credit cards and giving them to a suspect who promised to give her even more money in return.

Gainesville Police arrested and charged 27-year-old Brianna L. Jones with grand theft and scheme to defraud.

A report released Tuesday say cameras at the 12th Avenue store caught Jones transferring $500 onto a pre-paid debit card belonging to a second, unnamed suspect. The report says Jones did this 16 separate times over three days, sometimes transferring $1,000.

Jones told deputies the unnamed suspect called her and asked her if she would like to make some money, promising to give her $2,000 per transaction, the report says. Jones told deputies she did it because she was behind on her bills and wasn't sure she was going to be able to buy Christmas presents for her two young children.

She told deputies the suspect, who has yet to be identified, never paid her as promised.

Police say the case is still under investigation.
