Tiffany Robinson sentenced to 12 years in prison for stealing $350K in UF parking scam
The ringleader of a check scam that defrauded the University of Florida out of more than $350,000 will spend the next 12 years in prison.
State Attorney Bill Cervone announced Tiffany Nichole Robinson was sentenced to serve 12 years in prison after she pleaded guilty this summer to aggravated white collar crime and multiple grand theft charges.
Robinson is a former fiscal assistant at UF's Transportation and Parking Services Department. Authorities say she led the fraudulent check scheme that netted her $351,422.86 over four years.
She was also ordered to serve 10 years of probation and pay restitution.
