Florida Gator Jade Ryan has been a long time Jeopardy fan, and after two years of applying to the show she finally landed her spot.

“I got a call from a Los Angeles area code, picked it up, it was a producer and they were like hey do you still want to come and be on Jeopardy? I threw the phone down screaming,” Ryan said.

Ryan, a senior at the University of Florida said she was shocked when she found out she was one of the contestants.

“80,000 thousand people took the online test and from that they call about 4,000 to audition and about 400 make it on the show more or less,” Ryan said.

Ryan flew out to Los Angeles with her family and now her episode of Jeopardy airs tomorrow night at 7:30PM on CBS 4.

“I’m not going to be able to watch it i’m going to have to turn away,” Ryan said.

But Ryan's friends are throwing her a watch party to celebrate her dream come true.

“Thinking about all of the strange confused faces I made it’s going to be really weird seeing myself on TV, but i’m excited to watch with some friends and call my family in between," Ryan said.

Now after conquering her goal of making it on jeopardy Ryan said her next stop is wheel of fortune.

“If i can get on jeopardy which was intensely hard to do i feel like i can do anything at this point," Ryan said.
