Wanted Wednesdays: Levy County man accused of fondling child

Levy County Sheriff's deputies are looking for Angel Flores

This week's Wanted Wednesday brings us to a case dating back to 2012.

The Levy County Sheriff's Office has not yet found 62-year-old Angel Flores of Chiefland, and they are asking for your help in tracking him down.

“The warrant was applied for under the charge of a sex offense for fondling a child under the age of 12,” said Lt. Scott Tummond of the Levy County Sheriff's Office.

Once the warrant was issued, deputies say Flores fled the area. They tracked him to South Florida, but say he escaped to his home country of Honduras.

Now, years later, the Levy County Sheriff's Office says they strongly believe he is back.

“Mr. Flores could have reentered this country under a different name," Tummond said. "But his fingerprints won’t lie. We will know who he is when we get him back into custody.”

Flores is 5'6, 140 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

If you have any information on where Flores may be, contact Crime Stoppers at (352) 486-5111.
