Wanted Wednesday: Levy County deputies looking for convicted felon who broke probation
Authorities are looking for a man convicted of not one, or two-- but seven felony convictions and now authorities need your help to find him.
“Mr. Coleman has a very lengthy history,” says Levy County Sheriff’s spokesman, Lt. Scott Tummond.
Johnny Coleman, 48, is no stranger to law enforcement, with a dozen felony and misdemeanor convictions spanning from 1989 to 2016.
Some of his charges include drug possession, felony battery, and even armed robbery from a murder case in 1993.
“He has been to prison several times and currently we need to get him out of our communities,” says Lt. Tummond.
Now, he’s wanted for violating his probation requirements.
“Of all of his requirements, he has successfully completed zero,” says Lt. Tummond. “He’s in our community, he’s amongst the members of our community and he doesn’t need to be there.”
Levy County Sheriff deputies says he could be anywhere, but urge people to speak out if they know where he is.
“The people in our community who have been around for a while, they’ll know what he’s done, they’ll remember the violent act that he committed years ago,” says Lt. Tummond.
