Wanted Wednesday: Woman charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon missing
For this week’s Wanted Wednesday, Alachua County Sheriff's deputies are looking for a woman who’s dropped off law enforcement’s radar after she was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
“She had actually battered and used a sharp cutting instrument to cut two victims,” said Art Forgey, sheriff's spokesman.
When deputies responded to the 6200 block of SW 11th Place in Gainesville, deputies say a crowd was around 39-year-old Daisy Jackson and her two victims.
“Both victims received lacerations,” Forgey said. “They hunted the night that it happened and looked for the bladed instrument. Witnesses even confirmed there was some type of bladed instrument but they were not able to locate it at the scene.”
Deputies arrested Jackson that night, but she was released from jail with conditions that she report to the Day Reporting Program. Deputies say they haven’t seen her since February.
“She can be a dangerous person,” Forgey said. “We would like to get her in to face those charges and get a potentially dangerous person off of the streets so that more doesn’t happen like this.”
Deputies say Jackson lists her occupation as an escort. Her bond has been set at 55 thousand dollars.
Jackson is a 39-year-old white female with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5’6 and 150 pounds.
