WANTED WEDNESDAY: Man wanted after stealing woman's car on Newberry Road

Isaac Greer is on the run—in July he followed a woman to her car at a gas station on Newberry road.

“He used his size to intimidate her,” says Art Forgey, Alachua County Sheriff’s Office spokesman.

Greer forced her to give him her keys, wallet and phone--saying he would hurt her if she resisted.

“She was definitely intimidated, frightened and scared, and she ran from the vehicle when he was getting in,” says Forgey.

Hours later, Greer was found in Columbia County, with the car—wrecked.

Court records show Greer was convicted of carjacking in that case, but deputies say he violated his probation by not showing up.

“There are potential charges that are pending on him,” says Forgey.

Now deputies are trying to find him, but believe Greer might be homeless.

“We believe he is still in the area, potentially homeless living in either a shelter or a camp site around,” says Forgey.
