Wanted Wednesday: Police say man threatened to shoot girlfriend in face

The Gainesville Police Department is looking for a man who allegedly told his girlfriend he was going to shoot her in the face.

Officials say Kenneth Loving shows anything, but love.

“He’s been involved in multiple assaults in Alachua County,” says Art Forgey, Alachua County Sheriff’s Office spokesman.

With 12 arrests since 2010, Loving’s charges include aggravated assault, assault with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery.

Back in June, officials say he was arguing with his girlfriend on Facebook, and accused her of cheating.

“When she quit responding to his messages on Facebook and his video calls, he then began to message her that he was going to shoot her in the face,” says Forgey.

    And it didn’t stop there.

“He actually called the 911 center, said he was outside her home hiding in the bushes with a gun and intended to shoot her in the face,” says Forgey.

Police arrested him at his home later that day.

But officials say Loving has been on the run after posting bail.

“This is a dangerous individual that we need to find and we need to let him run though the court system,” says Forgey.

Loving is wanted for felony battery , repeat offender and intimidation, and written threats to kill or injure.

    Here is his description:

    Name: Kenneth Demirus Loving Jr.

    Age: 26 years old,

    Height: 5’7

    Weight: 170 lbs
