WANTED WEDNESDAYS: Sex Offender on the loose in Bradford County
A sex offender is on the loose and Bradford County Sheriff’s deputies need your help finding him.
36-year-old Rayshaun Fowler is wanted for not registering as a sex offender.
Deputies say her was convicted after having sex with a girl in between the ages of 12 and 15.
They say he had a baby with the victim, married and later divorced her.
“We were going out and verifying addresses of sexual offenders and sexual predators during that program we discovered that he was no longer living at the address he was registered at,” Officer Brad Smith said.
Bradford County Sheriff’s Deputies say for the past 2 years they've been exhausting all resources, state and federal, to try and locate him and now they're asking for your help.
“There’s concern for the safety of the community that this known sex offender is out there and we don't know where he's located at,” Smith said.
Smith said they believe he could still be in the area because his mother and the mother of his child live here. But he also has family in North Carolina.
"He also has a robbery conviction in his past too so he's not the clean cut All-American guy living in our community. He's a known sex offender and felon,” Smith said.
Fowler is 5’7” and 161 pounds. If you have any information Bradford County deputies ask you to call their office at (904) 966-6161
